The scoop

Nadia Jae of BBC Radio 1Xtra will host the launch party of The Concept AI Album, which Boi-1da produces. Rising R&B singer Bellah is set to perform a world-exclusive set at the event, which is scheduled to take place at Village Underground in East London. The 1xtra Breakfast Host will be in charge of proceedings during this time—tomorrow night in London, Concept AI Album.

Known for her role in the 2022 film Adultsville, Bellah is the UK’s representative on the upcoming The Concept AI Album. At the celebration, the British singer will debut her EP track and perform several of her greatest hits.

Producer Boi-1da trains AI systems on his signature production style for the album, which was created in collaboration with BACARDÍ as part of its Music Liberates Music campaign, which elevates up-and-coming global talents. This makes the album accessible to upcoming musicians.

The Origin of the “Concept AI” album

The brain behind the Concept AI Album is award-winning music producer Boi-1da. In a statement published by Rolling Stone, Boi-1da intends to support the future of music by harnessing the power of AI to create new ways for established players to work with rising talents and share their skills.

He explains that this captures what this third and latest Music Liberates Music Collaboration with BACARDI is about. What Boi-1da is doing with AI in the global music space is pretty amazing.

His team’s goal is to discover how the advancement of technology can spark a positive change in our communities by showcasing and elevating emerging artists and ideas. They concentrated on how NFTs might give artists a new source of income in 2021. They completely changed how fans discovered music in 2022 by offering a unique clothing line.

This time, they are utilizing generative AI to produce a unique little record dubbed The Concept AI album. They’re using some of his beats as training material for a generative AI program so it can produce music in his style. After completing this, they intend to partner with five up-and-coming musicians, which they will carefully pick worldwide.

The artists will get the chance to try out several demos made with those beats produced by AI. Boi-1da will work with them one-on-one in the studio to produce a single outstanding track. With The Concept AI Album, he hopes to demonstrate how, when applied responsibly, AI can spur new creative endeavors, foster greater teamwork, and assist up-and-coming musicians in elevating their demos to the next level while maintaining that crucial human touch.

Numerous international performers are set to appear on the album

The album will include many international acts, with Bellah representing the UK on the track “Something To Prove.”

In her role as host, Nadia Jae will talk with Rolling Stone UK News Editor Nick Reilly about the broader application of AI technologies and get the inside scoop from Bellah on how the song came to be.

Boi-1da has partnered with five carefully chosen up-and-coming artists from the UK, US, and Canada, spanning various genres. He has collaborated with everyone from Rihanna to Eminem. Many will have their fingers crossed, anticipating the brilliance Bo1-1da has created with AI.
